Thursday, 29 August 2013 – Outrage over the brutal gangrape in Mumbai forced the police to act immediately and anger on the streets in Delhi compelled law makers to bring in tougher anti-rape laws. But in a small village in Uttar Pradesh, a minor gangrape survivor is snubbed by the police and made to beg for justice. The helpless 14-year-old was even forced to flee her village, and has now written to the NCPCR, seeking justice.
